Claire is a brilliant interior designer for several reasons. First, she has impeccable taste and
can draw on and integrate a wide range of designs and colours. Second, she strikes a healthy
balance between being opinionated with her design recommendations and listening to her
client’s ideas. Third, she can effectively project-manage both the suppliers and the
contractors. Above all, she became a trusted advisor and cared for our home as if it were her
own.

I have worked with Claire over the last 20 years in my homes in London, Switzerland and our
family home in Kent. Whether it is something as small as a butter dish to curtains or items of
furniture, Claire has always been able to both advise and source. She has also been able to
advise me on the best use of my space. She is highly experienced and her contact list is
second to none. Recently I used her on line service to source and identify a large rug for our
garden room. She is professional, friendly and delivers on every point. I cannot recommend
her highly enough, both for her service and the quality of the materials she is able to source.
She has exquisite taste and really listens to her clients.

Walking around the Chelsea Design Centre with the lovely Claire was a complete eye
opener. Not only did she know everyone but she also knew exactly what brands to take me
to after I told her what style I was looking for. She has an amazing eye and an innate sense
of style. She also kindly secured me a brilliant discount through her industry contacts.

I contacted Claire because I really needed help deciding on paint colours for my home in
Portugal. Claire scheduled a video consultation and made time to really go through different
options with me. We were able to take my ideas and develop them into a coherent scheme
that works well with the light: applying some London know-how to a new environment.

Claire was a joy to work with. She was creative in her choices, listening to what I wanted but also taking me gently out of my comfort zone. I am delighted with the result. I appreciated her responsiveness and her care with the budget. I trusted her completely and now I have the happy house that I wanted.

I have worked with Claire Beaubien since 2007, first while refurbishing a flat in Mayfair and more recently a house in Victoria. This is an ongoing relationship, and one I value extremely highly – I have always had first-rate advice and the highest level of service. I have been working with Claire since 2010; my Fulham terraced house required a full makeover following a basement dig and new ground floor layout. I had initially worked with another design team who led me to the most expensive fabrics and antiques all with large mark ups for themselves. Claire was completely the opposite in the most refreshing way as she gave me a multitude of options and also took time to understand my likes and dislikes as well as my design priorities. Claire helped me to find unique and beautiful textiles, but also encouraged me to mix the new items with existing pieces in my home. I have continued to work with her to keep my house looking fresh and have always been pleased with the results. Claire is always professional, efficient and I especially appreciate how she never makes me feel pressured into making a decision before I am ready.

Most inspirational and helpful. I needed to renovate a 1960’s apartment into something cool and contemporary, yet with a homely feel. Claire carefully listened to my specific requests and translated them beautifully. Her attention to detail was masterful – fabrics, textures, colour palette, the use of space and natural light. I felt completely in safe hands and am thrilled with the result.

We worked with Claire Beaubien numerous times with different interior projects around the house. The most recent project was renovating the kitchen and master bathroom as well as upgrading the living room. It was a big project but she managed it very well. I like many things about working with Claire but mainly that she “gets it” from the first time! Professional and easy to talk to, she gives great design ideas / solutions and produces beautiful colour and design schemes. In addition, she is well connected to the design industry and has great working relationships with contractors and architects. There were a number of aspects that I appreciated working with Claire - (1) it felt like a genuine team effort between Claire, us and our builder and we all wanted the most inviting home we could create (2) Claire really listened to what we wanted and tried to match our spec (3) she was also honest and told us when she didn't think we were making a good choice which was really refreshing and helpful.

Claire's greatest strength is that she takes the time to get to know and therefore understand what her client is trying to achieve. She listens well and is always thinking of how your home could look even better.

Honestly, there isn't a room that we don't like in our home. I think what is best is that Claire encouraged us to use colours / wallpaper / rugs / lighting that we would never have considered and made our house look amazing. 

Claire Beaubien has helped guide me through two building projects - our London flat and our house in the country. Claire has never failed to delight me with her vision, creativity and knowledge in design. She went above and beyond to really understand our needs and to tirelessly search for exactly the right thing, often knowing what we want better than we do! Claire knows the nice shops and has innovative design ideas. I like going with her to the stores and choosing furniture. She's very helpful guiding me to nice decisions without imposing. Her best quality is her knowledge of colour combinations and materials. It was lovely because she is a very nice person as well. She worked well around my preferred budget and she referred me to good builders. The project timing was very good as well as reasonable.
